Welcome to our Milford Early Start Unit page.

Mrs Lane, Mrs Faulkner and Mrs Elvin are supporting us in our learning and play.

Our times of the day from September 2023 are as follows:

Morning session – 8:45am – 11.:45am         

Afternoon session – 12:30pm – 3:30pm        

In the Early Start Unit, we focus on developing the children’s prime areas of learning, including their communication and language, social skills and physical skills.  We encourage the children to learn and use new vocabulary and to speak in sentences.  We help to develop the children’s physical skills through indoor and outdoor play where they can climb, run and practise their balancing.  The children learn to be independent and take control of their eating, drinking and toileting.
