Please try to read with your child 4 times a week. They have a book in school which has been assessed to be at thy correct level for them. They are encouraged to take these home and then return with them the next day.

Please support your child with learning their spellings. The children have a pre-test to see how many of the 6 spellings they need to learn for the following week so they know the spellings to focus on. 

All children should have access to Times Tables Rockstars. Although we do practise them in school, to give your child the best possible chance to reach their mathematical potential we ask they do also practise at home. Y4 children will take part in the national Multiplication Tables Check as mandated by the government this year.
