  • All pupils acquire a bank of useful music vocabulary (e.g pitch, rhythm, tempo, dynamics) that they can apply to a variety of contexts.
  • All pupils experience a diverse range of musical genres and music with different cultures, historical periods and traditions from around the world.
  • All pupils have knowledge of great composers.
  • All pupils will have access to a wide variety of resources and a range of instruments in order to enrich their learning and enjoyment of music.
  • All pupils are given the opportunity to use music to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions.
